Children / Pets (from 2023-W36)
Having a cat (and likely same case for dogs) is like having a small child. They get into everything (curiosity) and try to eat everything, including stuff that’s bad for them and that you’ve cautioned them against numerous times. Also, they’re often underfoot.
- My ability to compare the two is a bit limited since I haven’t been around small children in quite a while, but it’s easy to imagine.
Did the ancient Egyptians, who revered cats, play with them and give them scratchies? Did the cats show their bellies?
